Boracko Lake

Located is in the north-east side of the mountain Prenj, at an altitude of 405 m. It has shape of elipse, 786 long, 502 wide and a maximum depth of 14 meters. It belongs to one of the most beautiful natural lakes in Bosnia and Herzegovinia. Boracko stream flows in the lake, and out of the lake flows teh river Sistica that makes a waterfall over 30 meters high. Surroundings are decorated with coniferous and deciduous forests. The lake has carp, brook and lake californian trouts, river crabs, and becouse of it Boracko lake is famouse. Boracko Lake is pleasant for swimming, recreation, sports teams and in this lake live many sort of various fishes, which is a real paradise for fishermen. It's favorite destination for local and foreign tourists. From Konjic it is far about 20 km asphalt road.
