Castrum Mogorjelo

Mogorjelo is located in the vicinity of the town of Čapljina. It is a Roman Villa Rustica and is one of the most beautiful examples of late antiquity architecture in our country. The items found in Mogorjelo date back to the 4th century. The elaborate, beautiful and picturesque architecture of the Villa itseif presents a truly remarkable oasis of value and splendour surrounded by the lush Mediterranean vegetation.
