Museum of Herzegovina – House of Svetozar Ćorović

The memorial house of the writer Svetozar Ćorović was designated for the needs of the Literary Department of the Museum of Herzegovina. The department started working in 1968, on the 100th anniversary of the birth of the poet Alekse Šantić from Mostar, whose last home it was, with his sister Persa, wife of Svetozar Ćorović. The museum's current layout and its program contents are based on the scientific and research work of the Museum of Herzegovina, i.e. the material that was collected before the war and preserved during the war: objects, manuscripts, correspondence of writers, photographs and other materials.
