Rama lake


Rama Lake is an artificial lake created in 1968 by the construction of a dam on the Rama River. The lake is surrounded by mountain slopes. Islands and peninsulas give it a special beauty, and the most famous is the Šćit peninsula, on which there is a Franciscan monastery. Every year it attracts thousands of visitors who enjoy sightseeing, swimming, sailing, fishing and other activities on this beautiful pearl.
